Question of a six-year-old: What are the difference between my hair and nails and my cat’s fur and nails?

Thoughts on nails: You could see lots and lots of details on the cats nails. It reminded me of tree bark or art work you can see printed on fabric. My nails were see through but more brown than white like they look like on my fingers. They were a smoother structure. Daddy wondered if this was because the cats nails shed and my nails were clipped. Mommy wondered if the differences were because the cats nails were round and human nails are more flat.

Thoughts on hair and fur: It was interesting how the cat hair was black, but not completely black. It was funny because the place were mommy got the hair out seemed only black, but under the microscope it was amazing to see the other colors you could find. Some strands were solid black and others had stripes. Even though she is a black cat, it is almost like an optical illusion looking at her from afar verse up close. My hair you could barley see at all as it is blond and has no color.
