Pollen Seeds as viewed under the foldscope. Image taken via iPhone X.
Picture of the flower which the pollen seeds were obtained from. Sample was obtained a little before 1:30 pm on Sunday May 5, 2019. The sample of pollen was obtained by pulling out the stamen of the flower and tapping it against the glass slide. The species of the flower from which the pollen seeds were obtained is Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus, commonly referred to as the yellow daylily. #caltechbi1
