A leaf from the plant as viewed underneath the Foldscope with what appear to be stomata visible.
Picture of the plant next to the door between the inner courtyard and the east side of Avery (the door faces West). The sample was collected around 2:20 pm on Tuesday May 28, 2019 in the inner Avery courtyard. A leaf was ripped into pieces and we placed a piece of the leaf on the slide. Underneath the Foldscope, we can see little circles, some of which may be stomata. #caltechbi1
