Foldscope A tool to teach Antimicrobial Resistance, a woman in STEM who travels pan India to the remotest corners of the country to help students the torch bearers of tomorrow to know more about AMR.

Thats how the journey began folding the foldscopes enroute the rain the passes and the twists n turns from Srinagar to Drass.
Standing tall at the Zozilla pass, bracing the rough weather that really made the travel tough, but no lookking back cos the #HimalayanVolunteeringTourism team was together in this, thanks Mahima Gir Mehra.
Comfortably settled in the Dak Bungalow we spent the day visiting the Kargil war Memorial where the war was actually fought,
fondly paying hommage to the sacrifice of all the brave jawans.
We started our day with 11 o students at the Govt. HIgh Scchool in Bimbhet with Arth and Angad as our teaching associates helping in the smooth conduct of the session.
The children were filled with enthusiasm to see the icrocosm so close and were excited to know more about STEM.
THanks is due to our collaborators for organising these outreach events and connecting us to so many schools, each of which received 10 foldscopes to help build the community.
